Spring Colour

A short walk through Shipley Park, took us up through the golf course and on to do a little shopping this morning.  Spring blossom is just beginning to make itself seen, so there will no doubt be a few pictures of that over the next few weeks, but for today, the thing which caught our eye most was the carpet of crocus' around the edge of Victoria Park in the town.

White ones, yellow ones and purple ones all combine to make this a wonderful, multi-coloured drift of crocus flowers.  It's nice to see that they are being left alone and are not being trodden on, kicked about and generally vandalised.  Long may they last.
