Back Again

Malcolm and I returned last night, from a week in Mallorca soaking up the sun - and by 'eck was it sunny and warm!  The sun shone all week and with temperatures in the 80's it was certainly a bit better than 'back home'.  Staying in the Alcudia area, we were well placed for walks into the old town in one direction and round the s'Albufera National Park in the other.  we arrived after dark and were immediately impressed by the night scene from our balcony.

The area is split by dozens of canals and lakes.  Filled with fish, they have fountains dotted about to help keep the water oxygenated.

A shortish walk took us away from the bustle of the town and down to the beaches with fine walks along the prom and even better views of the surrounding hills and mountains.
