After several days of soaring heatwave temperatures, it was such a relief to wake up to a cloudy morning, several degrees cooler than yesterday and the threat of some rain.
How nice to see the rain start to fall and the drops sparkling on the flowers in the garden.
These Busy Lizzies were particularly grateful for a little water and looked very happy indeed. Despite the temperature drop, it remains very warm and the increased humidity which the rain has brought, has done little help matters. Oh well! Pass the Gin - Lots of ice please!
