End of Day 5

OK, we are at the end of the week and the kitchen is nearly finished. By Friday evening, the fridge-freezer was working, the oven was working, the hob was working and the walls were being covered with the splash-backs.

So we have the fridge filled and the cutlery in the correct place and a bottle of Douro to celebrate. Not much more to be done now, just the splash-backs to finish off, the washing machine and dishwasher to plumb in and the shelves to fit in the cupboards. Then, we will be ready for the new flooring to be fitted next Thursday..... followed by CHRISTMAS!!!!
