Snowdrops

Nothing much needs to be said about this morning's walk up to Shipley Hill.  The pictures say it all as the sun shone on the drifts of snowdrops in among the trees.

 Getting down to ground level, you were almost surrounded by these little beauties.

 It goes to show what a little sunshine - in such short supply lately - can do for the woodland floor.  Carpets of Snowdrops bring a lift to the end of February.

Daffodils next - but we need to wait a few more days before they start to make an appearance.  So for now, more Snowdrops.
